Frequently Asked Questions

Art Description
All paintings are completed on professional stretched canvases that are primed and completed using acrylic paint. Painting styles are either actual depictions or abstract expressionist style. All abstract and expressionist styles have their history going back to the Jackson Pollack and Franze Klein styles of painting with roots in New York City.

Computer Art
The computer art style originates with a photograph or is actually drawn directly onto the computer screen which serves as a palette. A wicom drawing tablet is then used to create either the painterly look or various styles of expression. There are many applications of color and design before the final piece is actually chosen. The final work is then saved to a computer disc which is saved and then used in the final printing process.

Editions and Prints
The prints are created on professional printers and the paper is professional museum quality and done in either a series or singular prints. Each print has a border when printed allowing for the artist to sign and number . Once the 250th piece is completed the disc is put out of commission and no other prints are ever to be made.

Commission Work
Leon Wolf Fainstadt is available for individual commission work which is a one of a kind prints. An original photo, 8x10 , is required for the work to begin. Once commissioned the original photograph is scanned onto discs and the work then is opened in either Painter or Photoshop for the process of creating the original art piece. Two examples are then created from the original photograph and the buyer can then choose which one will become the final piece to be printed professionally. The cost of each piece to be negotiated with Leon Wolf Fainstadt and his consultant Bridget Cefalu.

All original art and paintings may be reproduced for art books and also to be entered into museum exhibitions or one man shows. Some of the original works may also be sold to corporations for use as logos and business applications. All corporate inquiries to be directed to Bridget Cefalu.
